Name:Topographic survey - Carn na Buaile Fort, Strathconon
Organisation:Headland Archaeology Ltd
Date:Feb 2013

Forestry Commission Scotland commissioned Headland Archaeology to carry out an archaeological topographic, measured survey in February 2013 of the Carn na Buaile Fort, Strathconon. A contour survey was also carried out at this time. The interior of the fort and its immediate surroundings had recently been cleared of trees and shrubs creating an unobstructed view of the fort within a clearing in the forest. The monument appeared to be very stable with no sign of any recent damage. Three small recent features were recorded within the fort. <1>
