Description

Two trial trenches were excavated at Keiss Road Broch by the AOC Archaeology Group in July 2006. Both trenches measured 2m x 1m. One trench was excavated within the central area of the broch, and a second one outside and to the northeast of the broch. No direct evidence of archaeological structures or artefacts was encountered. <1>
