A mound associated with this site was noted by RoCAS in a 2012 DBA and walkover survey on behalf of the Forestry Commission Scotland. It was noted to be grass-covered and amorphous and located under rushes on the edge of a ride 60m north of the track and adjacent to a stream to the west. It measured 6.5m north to south by 5m and stood up to 0.8m high. It was truncated by a ditch to the east, which had thrown up a low bank. <2>
