Full Description

An Archaeological Survey at Fassfern revealed several features in this area.
Occasional field clearance cairns are visible in a flattish area of ground N of an unnamed burn running into the River Fionnlighe.
Two woodland enclosures survive in fragments.
The most visible evidence of this former settlement survive north of the modern track. This includes the remains of longhouses and enclosures.
Possible Charcoal Burning Platforms.
