Full description

See Thumbnail Photo, showing concrete target.

The remains of a substantial concrete target with sliding iron target stands still survives in this position. The date of this feature is not known, but information should be available locally. The substantial size of the targets suggests it was a military construction (? For wartime use).
Information supplied by J Wordsworth, 14.11.99

Large concrete wall with grassy bank in front, remains of one target in situ and parts of the other one lies in the loch and in the peat.
