Full Description

Substantial stone built dam cutting across lower areas between Garrywhin Hill and another to its S, creating a lake on the W side that laps the lower slopes of the hillfort. Substantial tiered stone terraces (see photos). With stone structure on pond side on W that has partially collapsed into pond. Central area has outlet to the E that is now partly blocked with tumble. - HAW 24/05/2005
