Description

A programme of archaeological recording was carried at Fyvie, High Street, Rosemarkie between July and October 2005 during reconstruction of the house. The footings of an earlier house were noted underlying the existing walls. However, no archaeological features or finds were recorded during the excavations for an extension to the rear. There are no proposals for any follow-up work in this case. <1> The excavation assemblage was submitted to Treasure Trove (TT 108/12) and allocated to Groam House Museum. <2>
