Description
A rapid walkover survey was conducted on the area to be encroached upon by the A836 improvements south of Lairg. The area ran alongside Little Loch Shin from the Little Loch Shin diversion dam to the 30 mph limit zone on the outskirts of Lairg. The area to be encroached upon by the road was inspected in detail on foot. Any signs of archaeological activity were noted and photographed. <1>
