Description
A rapid archaeological survey was conducted of the site of the proposed redevelopment of the former oil construction yard at Kishorn in Wester Ross. The purpose of the survey was to identify areas of archaeological importance in advance of the submission of detailed planting plans. A rapid walk over survey was carried out on the 7th February 1999 in wintry conditions. Priority was given to the marginal areas adjacent to the perimeter fence where the land had not been completely reshaped during the building of the original oil construction yard. <1>
