Description

A survey of the land lying to the east of the A833 was conducted by John Wordsworth to assess the extent of the archaeology on this land. The survey was carried out in two parts. An initial desk bound survey was carried out on the Sites & Monuments Record, accessible historical and documentary sources. This was followed by a field survey to examine the archaeological potential of the area. <1>
