Technique(s)

Organisation

Highland Archaeology Services Ltd

Date

August 2008

Description

Site visits were undertaken to identify and record any archaeology revealed by the laying of new water mains around Greenbrae, Ross and Cromarty, following a recommendation made as a result of a desk based assessment in January 2008. This noted that Neolithic evidence has been found in this area in the past. Three areas of trenching were monitored but no archaeological evidence was recorded during the excavations. <1>
