Description

NM 558 534 A complex of walls running for about 100m between high and low water marks links a small offshore island (Eilean nan Gabhar) and an intervening rock outcrop to the E end of Bonnavoulin Bay. The system provides access for boats at all states of the tide. Another more ruinous wall to the E and at a lower level may have given protection against wave action from the S. Immediately to the N is a cleared strip of beach which provides access for small boats. This survey was undertaken during 2006. Archive to be deposited with RCAHMS. <1>
