EHG2923 - Killundine

Technique(s)

Organisation

Morvern Maritime Centre

Date

2006

Description

NM 5771 4998 A small roofless boathouse stands on the NW side of the bay at the mouth of the Killundine River, but appears to have belonged to the Killundine estate on the SE side of the bay. It resembles a small boathouse already surveyed on Lismore (DES 2005, 34), and two other examples identified in Morvern, and probably relates to salmon fishing. The partly collapsed structure is seriously affected by tree roots. This survey was undertaken during 2006. Archive to be deposited with RCAHMS. <1>
