Description

A historic building survey of the ruins of Coroghon Castle, Canna was carried out in August 2008. The survey was carried out to provide a basis for the National Trust in the planning of consolidation work to stabilise the ruin, with structural advice being provided by Fairhurst, consulting, structural and civil engineers. The objective of the work was to provide a measured and photographic record of the castle supplemented by feature descriptions and a basic written analysis. <1>
