EHG4315 - Walkover survey - proposed Burn of Whilk Wind Farm

Technique(s)

Organisation

AOC Archaeology Group

Date

2008

Description

A walkover survey of all non-forested land within the proposed Burn of Whilk wind farm boundary was undertaken by AOC Archaeology Group in 2008 to inform an Environmental Statement to support the planning application and to confirm that the original observations made in 2004 (see EHG4324) were still applicable. Owing to the density of the forestry plantation, it was still not possible to undertake a systematic walkover survey within the forested area of the site. <1> Note that although a full Supplementary Information Report (SIR) was submitted to the planning authority, following comments on the original ES submission in 2006, only the non-technical summary report part of this is currently available and linked to this record.
