EHG4442 - DBA and walkover survey - Strathy North Wind Farm, Farr

A desk based assessment and walkover survey was carried out by C Dagg in May 2012 in advance of a proposed windfarm at Strahy North, near Farr in Sutherland. Several sites were identified during the DBA including: farmsteads, townships and associated cultivation, a corn kiln, a hut circle and hut circle settlements. No new archaeological features were identified during the walkover survey. No mitigation recommendations were issued, unless further work was to be carried out, in which case further archaeological survey was recommended. <1>
