Description

An archaeological walkover survey was conducted by AOC Archaeology Group in 2017 at Fanblair, near Kiltarlity in advance of new woodland plantation. The survey was undertaken to identify and record the nature and extent of upstanding archaeological remains in the area. Nine sites were recorded during the survey and comprised predominantly the remnants of post-medieval field boundaries and buildings, which could be correlated with features depicted on historical mapping.
