Description
An archaeological evaluation was carried out by AOC Archaeology in Dec 2017 on land northeast of Tarbat Mains, Kildary, in relation to the construction of a new house and formation of an access. The evaluation was required as part of a planning requirement as the site is situated within an area of known archaeology. Seven trenches were excavated across the site. Two shallow linear features, likely field boundaries or the base remains of rig and furrow, were uncovered. <1>
