Description

An archaeological evaluation was carried out by AOC Archaeology Group in 2018 on land southeast of Clephanton, Cawdor, in advance of the construction of a new section of road and bridge as part of the White Bridge Realignment scheme. Twenty four trenches were excavated across the site with an area totalling 1779m², or 6.3%of the site. Several areas were inaccessible due to water and electric services, safety buffers and disturbed ground. No finds or features of archaeological significance were recorded. No further work is recommended. <1>
