Full Description

NC60NW 45 6077 0563.
A hut circle built into S-facing slope. It is peat-covered, but more clearly visible than of late due to recent heather burning. It measures 8.5m E-W by 6m within a wall spread to 2m and up to 0.4m high. The simple entrance in E and part of wall in SW have been mutilated by sheep tracks. No evidence of contemporary cultivation; the ground round about is stony and rocky.
Surveyed at 1:2500 Visited by OS (J B) 8 December 1980.

This hut circle lay close to where an electricity pole was being replaced. The site was visited, and found to have been completely destroyed by site levelling carried out in the past. <1>
