26 August 1976. The hired drifter EMBRACE, which was built 1907 and saw service in World War I, grounded 2 August 1940 in Loch Alsh.

26 August 1976. The wreck, presumed to be the EMBRACE, lies off the coast of Skye, near Ornsay at 57 09 30N, 005 47 12W. It was located by sub-aqua divers from Inverness who are trying to purchase it.
