A farmstead, comprising nine roofed buildings, one of which surrounds a courtyard, one unroofed building and two enclosures is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Nairnshire 1871-4, sheet v). Six roofed buildings and two enclosures are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1980).

A photographic survey of the steading buildings was carried out in 2015 in support of a planning application for their conversion to residential use. <1>
