Full Description

A dry stone built well head, 1m square and rubble filled, lies within a hummocky area covered by open birch woodland. Noted during fieldwalking in April 1996 by AOC Ltd on behalf of Historic Scotland as part of a pilot scheme for a proposed Management Survey Grant. It did not appear to be suffering from any serious detrimental circumstances. <1>
