NN16SW 18 1223 6096
A platform (NMRS MS 738/31, no.54), situated on a bedrock outcrop above the shoreline of Loch Leven, was recorded during a pre-afforestation survey by AOC (Scotland Ltd). The platform, which measures 6m by 7m, is of similar dimensions to charcoal burning platforms elsewhere around Loch Leven although it lacks a stone revetment on the downhill side. The site is thought to be either industrial or military in nature.
