Coastguard Lookout Post. Building marked on Landranger map of 1993, not marked on latest, 1st or 2nd edition OS maps.
Walkover reveals site to be coastguard lookout post with building of brick with concrete floor and roof. Roller shutters on windows, small toilet room to E end and roof ladder and base for scope on roof. <1>
Concrete and brick WWII lookout post measuring c. 6.5 m by 3.5 m and located on prominent part of coastline. One door on W side, 2 shuttered openings on S side. Ladder extends to a flat roof with remains of fixings for spot light/gun. One small internal compartment off main area. Identical to those noted just to S and further S at Loth. <2>
