On natural knoll, not visible in bracken - HAW 8/2003

PD: Recent extension of gravel pit has freshly cut away more of the walls. Photo of JCB cut section showing wall largely built of turf interlaced with quite large water worn stones. Some 5 yds W of its W facing portal D shaped mopund of stones prev excavated down centre. Prob a clearance cairn.

Dornoch Heritage Society Site M 18: Plan: c9.5m N-S with wall spread to c4m. Entrance in W is mutilated. E arc of hut destroyed by quarry.
