This site was investigated by the Scotland's First Settler's Project. It comprised a small, shallow, well sheltered rockshelter. A modern but not recently used hearth and surface shell midden with a few bones occuppied most of the interior. Only one test pit was dug as rocks and trees precluded digging outside the shelter. There were no finds and the lack of finds and surface nature of the deposits suggested recent activity. <1>
