This quarry is situated on the NE side of a stream gully about 60m WSW of Blackhill farmsteading (ND34SW 83). Oval on plan, the grass-grown pit measures 7m from NE to SW by 6.3m transversely and is up to 1.8m in depth where it has been dug into the slope on the NE.
