Nothing is visible of this farmstead, and its site lies in what is now an improved field on the S face of Cnoc na Cainach. As depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness, 1877, sheet xxix), the steading comprised a roofed ranged standing on the SW side of what was probably a rectangular garden. The 2nd edition of the map (1907, sheet xxix) shows the range unroofed.
