This disused quarry is situated close to the foot of a heather-grown, S-facing slope, immediately NE of the Broughwhin dam (ND34SW 59). Roughly oval on plan, it measures 5.7m from ENE to WSW by 4.1m transversely and up to 0.6m in depth.
