A well was recorded at this location during a walkover survey at Stronlairig as part of an environmental assessment for a proposed hydro-electric scheme. The well is 0.6m deep and 1m in diameter, with a possible spring hollow to the W. There are remnants of fencing surrounding the well. It is marked on the 1992 OS map, but not on the latest version or the 1st or 2nd edition OS maps.
