Full Description

A hut circle at Strath Brora.

A walkover survey by C Dagg in 2007 in advance of the second phase of native woodland planting on Kilbraur common grazings located eight previously unrecorded hut circles within associated field systems. At NC 8030 1057, is the low, spread, heather-covered walling, of which the north part is missing, of a circle on a natural level platform. The circle measures 9.5m internally and there is no obvious entrance. <1>

GIS spatial data amended in 2019 according to location of site as seen on 1999-2001 vertical APs. <2>
