NLO: Lybster [name: ND 248 355]
Lybster Bay [name centred ND 248 345].
(Classified as brig, with cargo of herring: date of loss cited as 24 August 1845). Oak: this vessel stranded at Lybster, much damaged. All gone?
Registration: Aberdeen. Built 1815. 119 tons burthern.
(Location of loss cited as N58 17.75 W3 17.00).

The location assigned to this record is essentially tentative.
The size of the vessel and the rig specified suggest that this vessel was a cargo vessel with a cargo of herring, rather than a fishing vessel as such.
It remains unclear whether or not this vessel was successfully recovered.
