Full Description

A hut circle to the E of former Causeymire Church, Caithness.

To the east of the present building (see MHG1274) are the foundations of a hut circle known as "The Kirk in the Heather" possibly an open air preaching place. <1>

The only feature resembling a hut circle is a vaguely circular grassy feature about 25m to the east of the building. It is best shown on vertical APs dating to 2009. <2>
