Full Description

A possible ammunition store at the former Dounreay military camp, Caithness.

?Munitions store identified in LiDAR data gathered by AOC Archaeology in 2011 as part of the mitigation for the visual impact on the archaeological landscape associated with the proposed Baillie Hill windfarm, Caithness. <1>

The site consists of an elongated 'L'-shaped eathwork and what are likely to be the concrete footings of a number of rectangular buildings [IS-L 16/07/2020].
