Full Description

Remains of a building north of Flodigarry, Skye.

The remains of a building are visible north of Flodigarry, Skye, on 1999-2001 and 2009 vertical APs. It measures 11m x 5m. There is also a circular feature c.6m across immediately adjacent to the southwest. It is not clear if this is an associated and/or contemporary structure but a later dyke appears to cross it. There are also vague indications of possible other small structures to the southwest, east and west. These may be shieling huts but this would need to be confirmed in the field. <1> <2>
