Full Description

A group of clearance cairns and a possible hut circle at Carn Biorach,

The features were reported to the HER by D MacLeod in 2022. There is an unrecorded group of stone clearance cairns centred about 200m north of the Aitendow cottage on the SSE facing flank of Carn biorach. There is also a possible house platform/round house foundation within this group. The stone cairns are very similar in form and distribution to those that make up the Carn biorach field system (see MHG6786), 800m to the west. <1>

The features are visible on vertical aerial photographs taken in 1999-2001. <2>
