A number of settlement features are visible across this area on an aerial photograph taken by Jim Bone in 2010. <1>

The Strath Sgitheach area was surveyed by Meryl Marshall in 2020.

Strath Sgitheach Post Medieval sites.

Shieling (SS10) – this oval structure on the summit of a grassy knoll is on a NW-SE alignment and measures 5m x 3m overall. The footings are of stone and turf and quite low but distinct. <2>
