Stone Coffin found AD. 1859 (NAT) OS 6" map, (1959)

A stone coffin containing ashes was found in 1859.
Name Book 1875.

Apart from a slight swelling in ground to SE of published site, there are no other surface indications of a cist or cairn.
Visited by OS (R B) 24 January 1966.
