Full Description

Three concrete blocks, probably originally the supports for a bridge across the Moy burn were seen during a walkover survey on the Moy Estate in 2012 by Rathmell Archaeology prior to a proposed windfarm development. They were of uniform size and rectilinear slots were noted on the upper surface. To the south and leading uphill a possible disused trackway was observed. Following a conversation with the estate gamekeeper it was thought that the blocks were supports for a bridge leading from the trackway which was used a s a donkey track. These featutres are likely to be of C20 origin. <1>
