Date

Apr-May 2012

Description

A walkover survey was carried out by Rathmell Archaeology Ltd on the Moy Estate in 2012 in advance of a proposed windfarm development. The survey identified sixteen potential sites, five of which were assessed to be natural features. The remaining eleven all appeared to be relate to farming or estate activities from the C19 and C20. Only two ruinous buildings were considered to be significant. However, none of these sites were in locations that were to be impacted by the development. <1> Further information is available in the cultural heritage chapter of the environmental statement for this planning application. <2>
