Description
A DBA and walkover survey was carried out by M Wildgoose in August 2006 to assess the implications of two proposed borrow pits and access route to these at Edinbane Wind farm, Edinbane, Isle of Skye. A farmstead lay on or close to the western boundary of the area designated for the quarrying of hard core in borrow pit one and so the pit would need to be adjusted to keep the site out of harms way. No archaeological features were recorded in the proposed area of borrow pit 2. <1>
