An archaeological walkover survey of the proposed site for a hydro scheme at Meadale, near Drynoch on the Isle of Skye was undertaken on 15th March 2016. Seventeen archaeological sites were recorded. Some of the sites are located in close
proximity to the proposed pipeline route and are likely to be directly impacted by it. Mitigation measures were recommended to ensure these sites would not be compromised during development. <1>
