Description
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken by Stuart Farrell in 2022 on land at Muir of Ord Golf Course as part of a project for a new toilet unit. The site lay to the southwest of the Scheduled Monument of Castle Hill. Work revealed the site of the toilet unit lay in an area of rough ground with no archaeological features or deposits, though the size of the extaction area was very limited. No recommendations for further archaeological work were proposed. <1>
