Full Description

A polished flint axe found near Brora is on display in Dunrobin Museum (Accession no 1831.1). It measures 10.4ins by 2.7ins to 1.7ins wide. Visited by OS (N K B) 15 June 1976; Information from exhibit card and from TS of Catalogue of Dunrobin Museum.

The axehead was catalogued during an inventory of Dunrobin Castle Museum's collection in 2019 by ARCH. Listed under Acc. No. 1831.1. It is on display in case 29, shelf C. <1>
