Full Description
NC 7677 0109 An oval hut measuring 12m N-S by 11.5m between wall centres. The entrance is in the S.
Contemporary cultivation is indicated by one or two stone clearance heaps nearby.
Surveyed at 1:10,000. Visited by OS (J M) 17 July 1975.
A DBA and walkover survey was carried out by Wordsworth Archaeological Services in 1997 advance of a proposed woodland grant scheme at Morvich, Sutherland.
1/7: A roundhouse as previously described, 12m in diameter. 20m to the ENE is a smaller structure, 3m in diameter with substantial stone walls lm thick.
