Full Description
NC60NW 44 624 097.
Centred at NC 624 097, on a moderately steep, S-facing slope, are two hut circles (A and B). Both huts have been built into the slope and the second hut is particularly evident as a platform.
Hut 'A' is 9.5m in diameter within a wall considerably obscured by peat and heather. The simple entrance is in the SE.
'B', turf-covered, measures 12.0m E-W by 11.0m within a generally ill-defined wall, surviving most clearly on the N side of the entrance in the east arc, where it is spread to 2.0m and 0.4m high internally. The S scarp of the platform is 0.9m high. There is no evidence of contemporary cultivation in the locality.
