Nigg Fabrication yard, formerly used to build oil rigs, now in use for the manufacture of offshore wind turbines.

Nigg Fabrication yard, now closed. Built oil rigs and had the largest dry dock in Europe at one stage. Oil Terminal lies to the N, both must have been built on reclaimed land as depicted as sands below high water mark on 1st ed OS - HAW 11/2002
Now in use for the manufacture of offshore wind turbines.
