3.5m long by 0.25m wide by 0.25m deep
Square nail holes visible on upper surface. Probably made in three sections.
Underlies existing levee and may be associated with dressed red sandstone blocks which appear behind and under and incorporated in the present levee. Narrows towards the seaward side and a possible channel continues out towards the sea through the salt marshes.

Mark Stevens advises that the wooden drain in this listing has recently been partially buried by a load of what look like field cleared stones, not rubble. <2>
