Full Description
The farmstead is depicted on the 1st edition Ordnance Survey map (published 1871, surveyed 1868) as a U-shaped roofed building with a farmhouse to the east. The farm is first listed in the census record of 1851, but may have been included under Drakies in 1841. The farmhouse has now been converted into two dwellings. The steading is in a poor condition and was due for demolition in December 2009.
A photographic survey of the steading prior to demolition identified two main phases. The building is fully described in the accompanying written report, which also gives details of documentary research. <1><2>
